Is WSU football the worst in the nation?

I really shouldn't continue beating the dead horse, as all we've been able to do is whine about our team on this forum for the past few weeks, but here we go.

In the FCS, out of 122 teams, Weber State is ranked:
Dead last in total defense (545.6 yards per game)
Dead last in scoring defense (48.9 points per game)
118th in scoring offense (13.0 points per game)
-- Take away Stephen F. Austin and WSU is 121st (6.8)
116th in total offense (255.9 yards per game)
-- Take away Stephen F. Austin and WSU is 120th (217.8)
Dead last in defensive sacks (0.43 per game)

We are also ranked in the bottom 10 in numerous other categories.

However, the single most glaring statistic, we are 121st (behind only Austin Peay) in scoring margin (-35.9 points per game).

Am I just being dramatic, or is it realistic to say Weber State has the worst football team in the country right now? The statistics certainly say yes. :puppy:

I could care less if they are considered the worst team in the country, what hurts the most is watching the worst Weber State football I've ever seen played. Yes, I'll be there Saturday, wallowing in my misery. This is gonna be ugly, again!

Hardly the worst team and I don't believe this is very accurate, so take it for what it's worth.

Weber St is 314th this week.

This thread reminds me of a scene from an early Simpsons episode:

Homer: I'm sorry, Marge, but sometimes I think we're the worst family in town.

Marge: Maybe we should move to a larger community.

Yes, it's time for WSU to dump their current schedule and replace it with teams that are worse than us. All 3 of them. :-D

(And, yes, I'll be at the game Saturday.)

Yeah, ISU has two DII wins on the season, but were 3pts away from having 2 Big Sky wins. When was the last time the Bengals could say that? Weber is quickly taking the place of the Bengals. It was fun visiting Cal Poly, but the game was one of the worst overall performances I have ever seen from a football team. The coaches are great men and really good people, but that isn't translating into wins or even competitiveness.

I was referring to worst FCS team in the country. Those statistics are from FCS schools only.

Did you look at the list, I think it includes ALL the colleges including FBS FCS DIV 2 etc.

I think I'm talking to a brick wall here. YES! I know your list includes ALL divisions. I was simply referring to WSU being the worst FCS team in the nation. :wall:

What a stupid thread YET AGAIN, :dunce: WSU is NOT the worst in America. At least they dont have the entire team walking out on meetings or skipping practice. That award goes to Grambling State.
