ISU Football Open Practices Announced...

For any who wish to attend here is the schedule that you can come to:

POCATELLO, Idaho- Football season is here. The 2016 Idaho State football team reports to camp on August 8 and starts practice on August 10. This fall Bengal fans have eight opportunities to watch practice before the season kicks off on Sept. 3 vs. Simon Fraser. All other practices will be closed. Practices will be held inside Holt Arena and outside on the ICCU Practice Field.

Here is a look at the practices that are open to the public. Dates and times are subject to change and if they do, we will release it through isubengals.com and through the athletic departments social media accounts.

Open practices
August 10- 3 p.m. (Open)
August 11- 3 p.m. (Open)
August 12- 3 p.m. (Open)
August 13- 3 p.m. (Open)
August 14- 3 p.m. (Open)
August 16- 3 p.m. (Open Scrimmage)
August 20- 3 p.m. (Open Scrimmage)
August 25 - 3:30 p.m. (Open Scrimmage)

All practices after August 25 are closed.

Hi I'm really excited for the upcoming season. My grandson Isaiah Walter will be there trying to make the team. I'm so excited to see how he does. We are from Yakima, WA. What is the weather going to be like in August? Are there any places to camp over there?

Usually the weather in August is hot and dry. However once about every three or four years we get hit with a lot of rain in the month. Last happened in 2014, one day got four inches. Flooding everywhere.

But the long range forecast looks pretty good.
