ISU Women pick up road win

The ISU Women's bb team survived 22 turnovers and 18 Weber State free throws to beat Weber State, 58-57. Only two Bengals shot free throws on the day. The women's team now has a favorable schedule the next 2-3 weeks. Let's go for the sweep tonight.

ISU destroyed Weber inside to somewhat make up for the lack of free throw attempts and turnovers. It was just enough.

By the way the last time ISU women's basketball won consecutive games each by a point was in January 1992 on the road at No. Arizona and at Nevada. Thanks to Jenna Galloway of ISU sports info for that factoid.
