Ok so what about Idaho State this week ? Another high powered offense ? Can we stay with them offensively ? Can we create turnovers to keep us in the game ? Then there is our special teams to deal with ! I say we can win this !! GO BEARS !

They killed us last season, but our secondary has improved. They're well coached and have a seasoned QB. I'll be at the game, cheering for the blue and gold!

Idaho State is a pretender. 4 wins, all of them at home, 2 against DII teams. Have a road conference losing streak more pathetic than the Bears. Horrible defense, possibly the worst the Bears have faced yet. If the UNC defense can continue to play like they have, I am going to say the Bears win by 10.

Go Bears!!

Tomorrow should be a challenge for your defense; Arias is pretty good.
"Pretender" is a stretch. We're 0-3 on the road, but not ashamed of any of those losses.

Should be a fun game. Whoever wins tomorrow will have a quality victory.

I think it will be another big challenge for our defense and a challenge for the Bengals offense ! I think it's pretty simple-- our Bears make a few big plays on defense we win if not ISU will have their way ! It should be a fun game and the weather is going to be great ! Go Bears

Here's my review of the first half:

"Hey, we beat NAU a few weeks ago so that's good enough, we can mail it in the rest of the way now."

Rubes 1st half left a lot to be desired, but he was pretty beat up. Newsom clearly out played him today though.

EWU always play to the level of its competition. ISU came to play and kicked our ass.... 303bears's "pretender" team just beat the crap out of us at home....

The game in one image:

Total trash fire ! I was so upset yesterday, I could not talk about this game which brings me to where I am at. I am done till we have a coaching change ! Yea some of you will say you can't blame it all on coaching . I say you can. The buck stops with him . One cannot keep going down the same road ending up at the same place ! We need to raise our expectations now! The change needs to be sooner than later! Pull the damn cord on this mess !

If anyone can understand your frustration, it's an ISU fan. Losing sucks, but consistently losing is unbearable.

I think you guys are better than you played yesterday, and better than the remaining teams on your schedule. You have a very good shot of winning out and finishing 4-4 in conference. You beat NAU for hells sake.

Thanks for the props. It's pretty telling though where the programs are heading. Kramer and Collins were hired the same year and look what has happened. You're vastly improved while we remain stagnant.

I actually wasted my time and made my way up to Greeley. I thought I was going to see a competitive game, but didn't see anything of that nature. I wanted to see in person how bad things were, and let me say they are pretty bad.

First thing, the O-Line, they are horrible. They were outmatched in every way. Second, why is Holland the starting RB?! I know someone else made the same comment, and I would have to agree. Lastly this team didn't look good at all. Rubacalba doesn't have any confidence back there because he's running for his life all the time.

It's embarrassing. Was Idaho St an improved team, yes, but UNC shouldn't have gotten blown out like that. With better coaching this team could be way better then they are now.

Hey Dink, dwink, lil dink or whatever they call you. Since you've posted on this board before, I'm sure you still check it on the regular. How come the O-Line is constantly getting dominated? Isn't it your job to make everyone faster, stronger, and better. How come the team looked gassed?? Was it too hot in barely 80 degree weather?

I agree. When you can compare where this team is compared to ISU at this moment, in which both programs started in the same position of hiring a new coach and both having teams that struggled. One is showing a ton of improvement, and the other...
