I am sure they would have to completed by 2012 or 2103. 2011 is the first year we could start the two year transition so they would have to be done by 2013 at the latest.

As much as I want this move to happen, I really have a hard time believing Sac will be chosen. At best I put us third or even fourth in the list of possible candidates.

4. Sac - Facilities are severly lacking. Yes the FB stadium has seats, but face it there isn't a press box or decent bathrooms. No Arena!.

There are things stirring with respect to the renovation of the stadium. I just received in the mail today an invitation to an event benefiting the Athletic Department of California State University, Sacramento to upgrade the existing football field. The invitation was from the Luchetti Family and the Tsakopoulus Family at the Tsakaopolus home. There were three sponsorship levels starting at $25,000, then $10,000 and $5,000. Donation to attend the event is $250 per person.

This is huge that these two families are now hosting events to benefit Sac State football. These are the captains of industry in our town and can bring the right support together to get our stadium up to speed along with a suitable basketball facility. President Gonzalez knows exactly what he's doing!
