Treyous Jarrells is visiting Idaho State this weekend. He originally committed to Wofford out of HS and headed to Grossmont to play JC ball. Kid looks like a stud, the big play running back with home run potential that ISU has lacked. It looks like ISU is his 'back up plan' if larger schools don't pan out. He has 4.4-4.5 speed and I hope we all get to see him in the Bengal Black and Orange...

Last season it was a toss up between Finney and Prior at running back at the beginning of the season. Finney eventually won the starting position. Finney had a good year as a sophomore but Kramer mentioned several times that Finney did not have the break away speed to pick up long yardage or get to the end zone quickly. This recruit, Treyous Jarrells, has the speed, size, and experience needed to take the Bengals running game to another level which could make the difference in 2014 as the Bengals need to score more points on offense. The combination of Finney and Jarrells the next two seasons at running back would be exciting to watch. I think Prior who will be a senior has accepted his position as a special teams return specialist and a backup running back. I am happy to see Kramer recruit a JUCO running back as the Bengals need an offense that has a good passing game and a good running game to win more games in the Big Sky in 2014. We will see what happens during the recruiting visit.

If he's coming on MLK weekend, he couldn't have picked a better weekend to visit ISU could he? The on-campus activities and full slate of games will keep his head spinning.

If Treyous Jarrells signs with the Bengals there is the possibility that Kramer could redshirt him since Finney and Prior already knows the offense. At the same time, Kramer maybe looking at playing Treyous right away in 2014.

Treyous maybe the answer to Kramer offense to increase point production.

Did we get an oral commitment from Treyous this weekend? ISU would be perfect program for Treyous to show case his skills.
