UM @ EWU

Based on last nights Big Sky game results and if we keep the offense rolling we might have 2 more wins, Northern Colorado and either Idaho State or Sac State but still going to be a losing season. Sac State might not be as good and UC Davis might be better than expected. Still going to be a losing season.

After UM games always go to egriz to see their comments. They are pretty football savy, not as much as we are, but they don't pull punches on their own. They are worried about their defense. They have a few injuries but with that said really disappointed especially second half 35 pts given up...551 total offense vs a team and 263 yards rushing in particular.
Tip my hat to our offensive line as watched in person then again on replay. I'm not a football tactics guy but watching the number of untouched rushes thru their dline was verrry impressive. So, was it the line or the trickery of motion of play calling or what?
*Got that feeling in my nuts....errr mean guts.. I use to get when we were good and played(and won) tight games in the second half.

I think we'll have a 50/50 shot against UNC and ISU *if* Best opens up the offense like they did against UM.

The offensive line is very good. We can run the ball pretty well, and when our OC isn't stuck with his head up his you-know-what we can throw pretty good as well. Hell, we even have a kicker and a punter this year. Big improvements. But, as always, our defense will prevent us from winning more than 2-3 games the rest of the season.

They are right to be concerned about their defense. It looked (almost) as bad as ours on Saturday, and that's saying something.
