Jeff Peace (formerly spelled Pease) returns to his alma mater in 2011 as a defensive assistant football coach.
Peace was a First-Team Kodak and Football Gazette All-American middle linebacker for the Bears in 1993 and 1994 after earning JUCO National Defensive Player of the Year honors in 1992 at Saddleback College after helping the team to the junior college national title.
After graduation, Peace spent a portion of the 1996 season as a graduate assistant coach with the Bears, but left early due to personal family matters.
He spent the next two years as the linebackers coach at Rancho Alamitos High School in Garden Grove, Calif., before moving to Foothill High School in Santa Ana to serve in the same role from 1999-01. Peace has also served as a team athletic performance trainer since 1997, specializing in explosive speed and strength.
In addition to his coaching duties, Peace is a special education teacher at Greeley Central. He and his wife of 10 years, Terri, have two children, Jackson and Isabella.
