Currently ranked #3 James Madison visits O-town to take on the Wildcats. JMU blasted Maine 55-7 in their recent game. Will the Wildcats provide some competition, or will it be another cake walk for the Dukes? JMU averages around 50 pt wins in their 2 games so far.

Let's have a good, raucous crowd out Sat. evening, the Wildcats may need it.

Definitely need to show up for a marquee matchup. I think the Wildcats will need to play at their top level and have some luck to win…but I’m sure they will be fired up.

Go Wildcats! Beat JMU!

Coach Hill stated that Barron is questionable for game (MCL)
Josh Davis was held out of Dixie State game but S/B 100% to go for JMU game

No odds found for this game but one can guess it's a sizable margin favoring the Dukes.

Be there!

Good evening Weber St Fans. Cant wait for a very exciting match up. Traveling out for the game with 8 others and excited to see your facilities and the teams play.

Any recommendations upon visiting?

Welcome to Ogden . I just checked the weather and Saturday is going to be sunny with highs in the low 80s and lows in the 60s. Its going to be perfect for a night game. You will only need a light jacket if that. I'm assuming you're staying in downtown Ogden. I would walk around 25th street. Great restaurants and bars up and down that entire street. Some other great places for drinks or food that are all close to downtown area are Ogden Brewery, UTOG, Slackwater, Harp and Hound and the Angry Goat. All great places. If you're here an extra day or have a couple hours of free time, I would take a drive up Ogden Canyon. Its beautiful up there. Its only about a 5 to 10 minute drive from downtown Ogden to the football stadium. Ogden is great town with lots of cool things to see. I have lived in Ogden, Logan and Provo Utah and Ogden is by far the best place of the 3. I'm excited for you guys to check it out. September is a great time to visit. Should be a great game.

Awesome - my crew is stoked to be there and we had some plans similar to what you shared. We fly in Thursday midday so will a day and half checking out some sights. Thanks for the recommendations on 25th street.

Should be a great weekend and an awesome game.

I did not watch the game against Dixie St., saw most of the Utah game. How’s your injury statuses currently? Any matchups you all are excited about?

Welcome to any JMU fans making the trip out west.

Some recommendations from me would be the places already mentioned for food and drink, 25th St in Ogden and downtown Ogden mostly. Also, Criddle's Cafe in Ogden is best for breakfast.

If you have time to take in some sites, Ogden Canyon as mentioned would be a great drive. I would recommend continuing that drive over Trapper's Loop Hwy and stopping at Snowbasin Ski Resort. The gondola should be running Sat and Sun. Views from the top are spectacular. Continue and come back down Weber Canyon. That whole loop is beautiful. Also, Antelope Island is a good visit. Great views of what's left of the Great Salt Lake, the Wasatch Front, and lots of Bison. Or just take a hike. Tons of great hiking options.

Some events happening are the Ogden Twilight concert on Thurs evening (Purity Ring) in downtown Ogden, and the Fall Farmers Market on 25th St Saturday morning. The farmers market is a great way to experience some local products. Also, Oktoberfest at Snowbasin on Sunday.

There will be some of us tailgating most of the day on Saturday. The tailgating scene isn't great but we're working on it. There will be more tailgating starting around 4. Stop by and visit and grab some food and drink. Would love to see some of you.

As far as the game goes, I'm not super confident Weber will win this one. JMU has looked very good and Weber has been inconsistent. Hoping for a good game though.

Enjoy your visit. I'm hoping to make the trip to Harrisonburg next season.

I believe it will be somewhere between a 3-7 point spread.

Wish I could make it to Ogden for this one! I’ll definitely be watching. We owe these guys one for sure. I understand they’ve had some injuries on the offensive line including their All American left tackle. Didn’t seem to affect them much last week when the blasted Maine though. We will have our hands full and find out a lot about our ceiling. Hopefully Barron is ready to go!

Howdy, Cats! Here's hoping for a fun, injury-free game. Much respect for Weber's program. Wish I could be there.

My daughter and son-in-law attended the U, where he played for Urban Meyer. We love Utah!

Have fun at the game. Looking forward to seeing you all in Harrisonburg.

I feel that this game will be decided by defense. JMU has a stout D and so does WSU. This may turn out to be a real fight to the finish. At least, let's hope so. I feel that either team will need a bit of luck on the offensive side. Both teams will be well prepared. Win or lose, this should be a great game.

Wow…Randall Johnson should have just taken the sack when his player ran into him. Very stupid mistake that could pivot this from a nice game to a blowout.

It’s evident Weber State is overrated. I don’t think a top 25 for now. It was a great run, but it’s clear a lot of work is needed.

Much improvement needed at QB and on the lines. If next week is a loss, 6-5 is very likely….possibly less.

I did not see a weakness in JMU.

I saw a few weaknesses in WSU.

It's not the end of the world, but we have a lot to improve on.

I feel like aside from the bad fumble and interception Weber played decent. We ran the ball much better than 2019. And Weisser throw some dimes. The defense got lazy on tackles in the 3rd. Also our o-line looked drastically better than the last two games.

Bottom line is that Weber is NOT a top 25 team right now!! They’ll be lucky to finish 6-5 and finish top 4 in the big sky. Defense is not very good and lacks the playmakers or stoppers of previous years. The offense is complete dog#*%t and that’s being generous!! Matt Hammer is a HORRIBLE OC and it’s obvious Hill is in over his head on offensive coaching decisions. Unless a REAL offensive coach is brought in this team is done and Hill must take over the D again or that will fall apart as well. In previous years the defense could bail out a bad offense but not this year. No pass rush and the overall the defense is pedestrian at best. Offense should all be benched or seriously look at themselves in the mirror and see how bad they are. Hammer should be fired tomorrow and head back to high school. Unacceptable to be blown out at home by JMU when all the fans have heard is how this team can be special or great. Hill will rue this one as it’ll be back to 3,000-4,000 fans at best after this HUGE turd of a performance!!! Awful coaching and execution all the way around. JMU is a great team and at least Weber fans got to see what a 1st class team looks like. Best of luck Dukes!!!

Matt Hammer is not a college coach period he is the same coach that got let go before he should stick to high school football he did ok at that level. I had a bad feeling earlier in the year when Jay Hill named co defensive coordinators and said he wanted to focus more on all aspects of the team to me that was a sign he knew the offense wasn't improving and Hammer wasn't getting the job done. Hammer is a terrible play caller in the red zone just trick plays instead of calling the plays that got them into the red zone.
