• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

GI Joe's was one of PSU's biggest sponsors. How much will this hurt PSU?

I think the days of Joe's being the big sponsor for PSU were fading ever since they became a non-local company. I don't have numbers, but Joe's clearly didn't seem to be the corporate sponsor that they once were.

A sad day for anyone that grew up with Joe's being the local sports and outdoors place. :-(

I hadn't thought about the PSU angle, but that is sad to think about. It was nice to have at least one store in town that carried PSU gear.

I noticed they still have a banner flickering on the goviks.com web site. Norm Daniels who was the GI Joe's President was a huge PSU supporter. He funneled a lot of GI Joe's advertising to PSU. We are going to miss them. Are there many other Portland based businesses left? I'd hate to go through the list here but GI Joe's is just one of many.
