Dickson, who was this year’s team captain, also becomes the first men’s basketball player in Fairfield High School history to sign a Div. I scholarship following his senior season.

I know SD. When I read that, I was like "Fairfield HS has been around for many decades..." Strange that this is their first Div. I men's hoops player.

There have been quite a few really good players to come out of Fairfield High but none have had the grades to go straight to a 4 year school.
