Attended practice yesterday, the team is ready for another "VICTORY". SAC ST will be ready, but our team should take care of business. Spoke to Bo Levi, told him, Buddy, keep up the "great work", two games w/o any picks, keep up the outstanding work, he looked at me and![]()
He was hitting his Wide Receivers in stride. His brother (Cory), I've noticed how he goes and get the balls thrown to him. Our team has the "BEST WRS, in the FCS, I will put my change on any of them. Aston Clark #35, that young man impresses me each practice I've attended. After the practice, Coach had a little scrimmage with some of the younger players, was very impressive. Vernon Adams QB, he will be a very shifty individual with the ball, and he can really throw the ball, with a very quick release. Wide Receivers Nick Lenoue, Todd Rhaynes, look great in their positions. TE Jake Whitnel also looked great. Ashton Boothroyd also looked great on the DL.
Chris Power, looked great in practice, will be going with the team as will Matt Johnson. What was really impressive was watching the team admire the younger players, and cheering on their respective positions on OL/DL. Team will depart campus about 09:30am, depart Airport at about 11:30am hrs. Good Luck to all, safe travel to Sac ST, and return home. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

I will never forget how impressed Coach Wulff sounded at our 2007 EAA meeting when he did his annual breakdown regarding our recruits. He predicted great things for these two young men and he was absolutely correct. They both epitomize what Eagle athletics is all about. Good luck to both young men and to the Johnson family. I am not sure if we will see two players on our defense like Zach and Matt again. Hopefully we will see Zach back next season but if not nice job on the blitz last January 7 when you made the final big play in the biggest game in our long history. Just like your first game as an Eagle against Texas Tech, you and your brother had a knack for big plays. Get healthy and thanks again champs!

The twins wanted to play together in college and Eastern was the only school that 'took a chance' and offered them both scholarships. You know the rest of the story. (Among the other recruits in '07 were Tyler Hart, Taiwan Jones, Dexter Moetului, Chris Powers, and Renard Williams.)
