Yep, now McMackin may stay at UH. Still I don't think this is enough to lure JG away.

Questions: 1) Did JG leave on good terms with Jones?; 2) What kind of dollars does JG pull down at PSU and what could he pull down at SMU?

Not sure on the dollar figure, but JG has three more years remaining on his contract. I would estimate that what he makes now and what he could pull down at SMU as DC is probably in the same ballpark.

I think you're right. I think he's probably in the 150-200k range at PSU, which may or may not include some sponsorship money. Sounds like SMU's donors could pony up more than that if they wanted, but I'm not worried about Jerry leaving right now.
