Berry/Bamforth 1st team
Berry Newcomer of the Year
Tresnak 2nd team
Otis HM

everyone has an off night or two. Jamar deserves the recognition. UM and WSU with two first teamers. That is also, about right. The only bad part of that is that Tres and Ward got pushed to the second team and Ward is done. Tres can, at least, have a chance of getting it next year. Cherry and Berry (interesting?) also got some, much deserved, recognition.

It's all good! :thumb:

Worst POY I've seen in person. That thug has been horrible 2 yrs in a row in Ogden.
I remember when my mommy told me about the mean jealous kids. All kidding aside, great job to Kareem! He deserves it!

It least we don't cuss you out on this website unlike what is what to me on Egriz.

overall the awards look good.

i think the mvp needed to come from the first place team since weber n griz were so close. cherry due to injury wasnt able to win though he was the obvious frontrunner last summer. but injuries happen so for me it had to be jammar or berry.

trez 2nd team? 0nly in the big sky....were u have 5 point guards on the first team.

when the vote it always appears offensive numbers count more than D.

since oldrunner explained to us its the schools that vote and they all want to spread the awards we cant expect griz n weber to own em all but i think this yr the first team should have been all weber and griz. 2 each on first team isnt enough for me. both teams were amazing this yr. 19-1 and 18-2 and 3rd place 7 games out. thats a mile behind.

Your players do that, then they flip off the fans. If you want thugs look no further than your own team

Kyle, you DO realize JakeWeezy is a make-believe troll, right?

Eastern Washington's freshman forward and Big Sky honorable mention Venky Jois will be the league MVP in two years. Mark it down. He looked like Toni Kukoc on Saturday night, driving to the basket despite being 6'8". I'm a little afraid of what he'll do to Weber in the near future.

Jois is not 6'8''. I don't know what they list him at, but he may be 6'6'' if you put him on a rack and stretched him for a while. He is a talented player, but he is not going to be MVP unless EWU becomes a contender. I don't see that happening any time soon. They will finish about the same next year as they did this year. Teams like that are going to force the NCAA into a shorter shot clock. Fans don't want to pay to see some slug hold the ball between his legs for 30 seconds.

Despite being a Mouth with legs, Nobody has done more for thier team this year than Jamar, he deserves this award.

Just a little side note;

EWU is going to continue to go after international players. They will have to. No decent player from the US is going to want to play in that sort of a system. EWU is cutting their own throat, with their style of play. :twocents:

Hard to argue with that. He earned it and truly, nobody was more valuable to their team than he was, especially with the slew of injuries the Griz suffered early and late in the season. That being said, it's hard to argue with the "Mouth with Legs" theory, too. His game does speak for itself, though.
