What???? Where did you hear this? I am shocked!

*EDIT* Just watched the video!

 :notworthy:

Me too but I've thought all along he has a level head and will be wise enough to see the big picture.
Good on you Cooper! :thumb:

best news I've heard all day. At least it provides a little glimmer in the wake of this disaster of a season. figure our the qb situation and get some modest improvement from our D, and we might have something next year.

Official Eastern announcement

WOW those records are impressive!

I'm shocked! Thought for sure he was leaving. Makes me feel a little better about going to Pullman Labor day weekend.

I was thinking about this just yesterday and was kind of surprised we hadn't heard anything, but I thought that he would take the time over the holiday to discuss his options with family. I wonder if he even asked for a grade/where he would fall in the draft from the NFL. Would be curious to hear where he would have fallen.
Glad to have this out of the way and Coach can use this for recruiting as well. Great DAY to be an EAGLE!

MLEagle,
I agree with you, the BEST NEWS coming from EWU Athletics yesterday. Kupp is an "Outstanding Athlete/Person. I think the Eagle Nation are going to "Jump For Joy. Cooper we are so happy you intended to return for your Senior Year.    :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: "You are the Greatest". I am sure your Brother is happy to hear you are coming back for another year to play with him. I know your Team Mates will be glad to hear the announcement also. Remember your first time you and the other Players came by my residence and had a great time eating something beside "Top Romean" ;) ;) ;) Again 'WELCOME BACK" Coop. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

Truly amazing news, although I would have been equally as proud of him had he decided to declare early. I wonder if his draft grade was the deciding factor?

There were probably a lot of things that factored into his decision. I am sure his draft grade played a large part in it, but I can't help but feeling like the way this season played out with "unfinished business", and the opportunity to play with his brother for another year must have also weighed heavily. :twocents:
