"JJ" wouldn't be good enough to warm up Dave Dickinson's jock before a cold day in Missoula....

He might be good enough to warm up DD's girlfriend, especially if she said no....

Unfortunately, SCFBF is a pretty reliable source. I hope he's wrong. :ohno:

Word on the street is that if EWU QB Kyle Padron has a big year he will declare for the NFL Draft. He and Marcus Coker are two players high on my potential early entry watch list.

I read that and my first thought was similar to yours but reality is that, between now and next years draft there will be reams of speculation. IF he earns the starting spot, and IF the Eagles make a VERY deep run if not a N/C, maybe but then... the mock drafts begin. When do you think he would make the plunge and begin talks with agents? Isn't that the point when he is committed and forfeits the balance of his eligibility?

No worries...if that happens it will mean we had a great season and if he does declare he will have my blessing!

Yeah, well....he hasn't played a single down yet. Let's see how things unfold. But I agree, the Small College Football Fan dude is rarely wrong. He knew about TJ leaving early before anyone on the boards...

Hopefully EWU gets two solid seasons out of KP.

Kyle is a team player...If he helps take EWU to Frisco and has a chance at the NFL, then hell yes, why not. but my guess is that he will play the next two years in Cheney. There is a big culture shock between Cheney and Texas. Bo was lucky enough to have all his brothers move there. I hope Kyle is able to get support from his family or the great people of Cheney, because he WILL feel isolated and alone. Cory Mitchell will do everything he can to help him through the tougher times (winter :) and the hard transition of no Tex-Mex.
Side note to Kyle: Cory is looking for a roomate and a place to live when he get's back this week from Texas.
