I am super excited to see that Beths girls are playing on into the post season. Looks like we play tomorrow at New Mexico. When was the last time our womens team made it to post season play?

This is Awesome, I may not be the biggest women's hoops fan, but they are still Weber and I will cheer for any team flying the Weber State flag.

Go Weber Ladies, beat the Lobos

Been too long, nice to see them have a little success this season. The games I was able to watch this season showcased their improvements over many past seasons. I believe they're still fairly young too.

Great! It seems that the last successful season ending in post-season play was under CT of course, when they won the BSC & went to the NCAA...it's been a long drought in between. Coach Ord is proving that the program may get turned around now. :thumb:

This is cool. Maybe sometime soon well see dual Champs again like 2003. I went to both title games that yr.

That was great year! Ah, the memories!!

Good luck ladies!! Pretty cool that they are still playing. I think it has a lot to do with their stellar preseason schedule.

I think that their success has had more to do with having an outstanding coaching staff. Frankly, they have had some staffers who have held them down in the past. The crew now is excellent. Due to injuries and defections, they didn't have a full cupboard of players this year. Many games were played with five guards, no front court players to use, yet they found a way to win. They should be better next year, when they can fill the roster spots that were empty this year. They are one or two players from winning the championship and dancing.

Hats off to Beth Ann and her crew. :thumb: :thumb:

And the Lady Cats upset the New Mexico ladies 75-67. Great win ladies keep it up, we are rooting for you.

Weber women play winner of North Dakota / Grand Canyon on the 19th 0r 20th

GO WEBER

Huge props to Beth, her staff and our lady cats. Our AD also needs credit too. A few years back not very many of us thought that Beth would be around after her current contract. Administration has stood by and let Beth change the culture and get back to winning ways. This team doesn't quit!

The women play Sunday, 7:00 PM, at North Dakota.

We must not have wanted to bid on a home game.

Good luck ladies.

Would have been a huge waste of money anyway, Weber's women's games don't get many to watch them anyway.

And I am one of them, and although I am rooting for them and hope they win the whole thing, I don't like Women's basketball. Nothing against any of the girls playing the game, just has never been exciting to me.

Women's softball on the other hand.... :)

Anyway good luck ladies and take the North Dakota Fighting Sue's out

All tickets are general admission and are $5.

Everyone who can go should go. What else are you going to do on a Wednesday evening, in March?

Headed out to watch the ladies play a college tournament game at a college (novel concept). I hope they keep it going and get the W at home. Either way, nice season and a long time coming.
