Since the ISU women won the Big Sky in 2012, here are their conferences records
2013: 13-7
2014: 11-9
2015: 8-10
2016: 6-10 (so far)

I am not worried about the slide. They are still a highly competitive team.

That's an interesting point. Never thought of it. They would have had two free throw chances and assuming they made them, press and if needed foul ISU. Don't remember what the timeout situation was, I don't think either team had any remaining.

And a lot of your post would have to depend on the timing of the foul, i.e. how much time would be left.

I may ask about that Wednesday just out of curiosity.

I believe there were 7 seconds left at the start of the possession, so there should've been less than 5 once Stockton(?) crossed the half court line. My feeling is that you should deliberately foul up 3 if there's less than 5 seconds left—just make sure they aren't shooting when you do it.

This game isn't up on the Watch Big Sky archive yet, so I can't check the exact times right now.
