Last ranked team in college football

According to the college football RPI we are the 252nd team outta 252. Coach collins needs to go now. . http://realtimerpi.com/football/ncaaf_Men.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That would be hilarous if it wasn't so pathetic but does confirm what I've seen so far I can't imagine a team we could beat that is D1.

Although on second thought when I read that I did laugh so it is pretty funny as sad as it is.

But hey it's the fans fault for not coming out. :lol:

I blame whoever set the ticket prices. $25 to see us get blown out by Montana State when the game's on TV anyway? No thanks.

That's what I'm saying, I saw that when I went to the CSU-Pueblo game and then after that loss I thought to myself good luck with that they should be letting people in for free now.

WOW, That should really bolster the coaches credibility during the recruiting period. Don't know a lot of kids dreaming about playing for the worst team in D1 football. Especially if there are no changes made to this staff going into next year. :| :| :|

Wow, this means we are ranked BELOW Grambling State Football...would an in-coming AD really need to give Collins a year to see what he is working with when the documented evidence is sitting within a mouse click away? Really?

I like Ernest as a person but even he has to see the writing on the wall. The end is near, isn't it ? What a sucky situation this has become for everyone. On the positive side , I really liked what AD candidate Darrin Dunn had to say yesterday per Trib this morning. I think he will be on the right track ! The other guy speaks today.

I unfortunately missed the Trib coverage on Dunn, what did he say that you liked? Please share... How did it compare to what the other guy said?

this program needs to go back to division II. plane and simple. it has never had any business at the dI level with football. no community or student support ever. average dIII football schools get more attendence at games than unc.

that should be the first thing your new AD does

this is not the first time unc has held that ranking either.......

You are another one that wants to put us back in the stone age ! How ridiculous that would be. And being in div.11, 111,1 or whatever has nothing to do with attendance.Winning will take care of attendance , no matter what level. And UNC is not at the D1 level. It is at the FCS level which is the old 1-AA !!

FCS is absolutely Division I. DI is broken down into two Subdivisions - Football Bowl and Football Championship.

Hi Mr. Dean. It's been a while since you've posted on here. I see Cam is at Cal Lutheran and your other son is at NAU. How are they doing?

Ya, that way we could suck at the D-2 level. This team just got embarrassed by an RMAC team at home, how is D2 the answer? We used to beat NDSU all the time when both schools were D2, and beating them back then was just as daunting of a task as it would be now. But instead of rising to the level like NDSU did, we're the last ranked team and they're the number one ranked team. NDSU had better fan support and resources back then too, but we had a motivated team with an excellent coach, which is all it would take now. Do you think fan support dropped because we went to D1? Not hardly, fan support dried up because the product is very sub-par. If this was a winning program, I bet fan support would easily be 10k.

Very true. Not a winning season in 11 years will kill off any fan support at any school.
