even though are RB core is beaten up we could rely on Sawyer to get it done this past saturday, this is a good sign for a more conservative offense this season, well done Smith!

We need to grind out more yards on the ground this weekend. With this O line we should have between 150 - 200 yards per game.

With the loss of Ali we are playing with non-dynamic players at tailback. These guys are solid and can give a starter a rest or play at the end of games that are decided, but in no way are of the same caliber as Ali.

I am curious as to the progress of the transfer Magee. Also I thought I saw that Rory Carrington was still on the roster - if so does he have issues that are keeping him from playing?

Sawyer got the job done and was brilliant at times. His only interception was a last minute "up for grabs" pass which ended the first half. Three or four of his passes, in the first quarter, were batted down by the DL or LBs. Putting a little loft on these passes would have gotten the ball past the line of scrimmage but may have risked an interception. The two touchdowns showed what the receivers can do when they catch the ball on the dead run.

On the running game, from what I saw, Mo would have gained at least a hundred yards. It will be great to have him back in the lineup.
