What if UNC would have transitioned to D1 the right way?
- max number of scholarships
- facilities updated

Now the big ONE

What if UNC would have hired coach Stitt when they had the chance?

Just getting ready to watch NDSU vs Montana. Wondering what if.

Time will tell if Stitt will be a good coach at the FCS level. The Griz do not have the patience for coaches who don't produce wins. If he doesn't make them into contender in 4 yrs, he will be out the door. He might be a bit overrated with his schemes. Many coaches borrow from each other. He gets noted more than others for whatever reason.

NDSU was the model in how to move up. I still love the power football. Get meat and potato linemen, a full back and fast RB, and you've got great football! NDSU versus gimmick football (Montana)l today.

Wonder when it will be enough of this worthless HC and staff for the school to realize it is time to do things right, and make the correct moves to make this team a REAL D1 program

Unfortunately the Stitt thing will be looming over UNC for a while... I have to say I watched a lot of that game and he impressed me... of course it's one game and it can be easy to get a lift when you first arrive at a program (other than UNC) the so called Rick Neuheisal effect. But they did beat a very good program, I'd hate to see them against us with Stitt with a chip on his shoulder...

I'd say he past the 1st test. I have a feeling Stitt not being hired will haunt UNC for a long time, especially since he is in our conference now.

I'd be willing to put money, and quite a bit of it, on that it wasn't UNC who said, "Thanks but no thanks." to Stitt, but the other way around.
