Did yall hear about the game or see it? LOOOOOOOOOL!!

I can laugh now but in 2003 USU pulled the same "clock not working" routine against us in 2003. We lost the game because of the clock. At least Utah lost no matter what.

Boylen is a loser but I couldn't help feel bad for him in that game...

LOL: recognize any of the refs? The middle one is famous as a "great" ref in the Big Sky. I hope this means he has moved on...

Each ref were thinking the same thing... "How can we get out of here early, so that we can make it to Owl before it closes."

Talhad's comments about the clock issue of 2003 - Weber @ USU:

Yeah...December 2002. Supa-Man's senior season (2002-2003 season). I still contend that there are 2.5 seconds left on the clock. The clock issue was by far the worst thing about that game. The Spectrum staff didn't reset the shot clock so it went off 2.5 seconds before the game clock, and the officials, most likely Big Sky, didn't take the time to look at the official game clock so thought that the game was over. They probably assumed that a facilities staff would be intelligent enough to turn off the shot when there is only 12.5 seconds left to play, but they should have known that the Spectrum is in Logan, and you can't assume anything up there. The funny thing about that game is that Brad Barton, the previous years hero, shot a three at the, supposed, buzzer only to barely miss with the ball falling into Pat Danely's hands. Pat put the ball back up before the game ended. He made the shot and was fouled, but the refs said the game was over when the game clock said that there were 2.5 seconds left. WEIRD SHIZ happens in Logan!

yeah but if Curry moves on that means Big Sky will have to replace him, probably with someone even worse....

Does anyone else remember when this happened in a Utah Jazz game back in the late 90's? The Jazz had Tom Chambers on their team and he was supposed to take a last-second shot, but the clock didn't start so the Jazz got a few chances at it. I can't remember how that one ended, but I once saw Tom Chambers at the Ogden Rodeo wearing what had to have been the world's largest cowboy boots.

KSL ran a video on their sports that evening showing, without doubt, that the shot was good. Here's the link.

The Aggies don't have to cheat to win as evidenced by the whipping they put on the Wildcats this year, 75-49. They have a good team, with their only loss by 5 to BYU on a neutral court.

You have a good point, USU is a great team, they pounded Weber and lost to BYU. I guess that is a good argument.

Those were the 2 toughest OOC opponents too.

(GeorgeHay...You don't understand what we have gone through over the years with that ref in our conference...)
