We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Pardon me for being a killjoy, but let me ask a question: exactly how has Coach Hayford and his staff answered the recruiting question??? Isnt it a little premature to definitively declare a recruit to be a "good get" before he has ever scored a point or got a rebound for us?

I've always thought it best to wait until a kid has played for us for at least one year before we decide whether or not he was a good get. It's amazing how many kids with a lot of hype dont work out, and conversely, how many under-the-radar guys end up being good players.

I feel like we have the answer on Colimon, Forbes, Winford, Johnson, Ederain, and Griffin. Even after a year, the jury is still out on Hankins, Brown, and Henry. So, lets hold on for a minute on the guys who are not yet even on campus, or who have yet to play a single minute in an Eagle uniform.

Oh, I agree - you gotta wait and see how the players pan out. I should have added that caveat. Hankins, Brown, and Henry were all Freshman last season and didn't see a lot of PT - Hankins hasn't even played a minute yet as he was a RS last season.

My point was, from my first impression, the staff has done a nice job bringing in some players that can be succesful in the Big Sky.

To be honest, we probably won't even really see the effects of Hayford's first recruiting class until next year. The HS kids he brings in this year and our two transfer players (Crosgile, Seiferth) won't even see the court until next season. Of the two Freshman signed in the '11 class, one of them is RSing this year and I'm not sure how much PT the other one gets. Guess we'll see soon.

I do think the Chiverton kid from San Fran will prove to be a solid signing. Omogun looks like he has some potiential.
