The Timbers wanted this weekend free in case they were playing in the playoffs (someone can cue Jim Mora's infamous playoff rant here :lol: ). That is why we initially moved the Dam Cup game to Friday. The Timbers missed the playoffs and were trying to fill the dates. Our contract, if I remember when Canzano posted a link to it on OLive, states the price that the Timbers can charge us to rent the stadium. It is set in stone. at least until when the contract is up. OSAA came in late and tried to rent the stadium at the last minute and the Timbers quoted them premium price.

We're still locked in to Providence Park through next year.
