• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Losing Some Great Support Staff

Jeff Tingey noted on the coach's show last night that the athletic department is losing two great support staff -- Quinton Freeman has joined Frank M. at New Mexico and Jay McMillan is moving on to Colorado State. Quinton was instrumental in the football program digging out of its APR issues, while Jay has been a key in raising money for the various facility upgrades that have taken place, or will take place, in the case of the new practice field. Jay will be helping CSU raise money for a new football stadium. Both will be greatly missed, but that is how you know you're doing well -- when bigger programs want your people.

I never did get a chance to meet Quinton, but am very saddened by Jay's departure as I consider him to be a good friend. He has been here for quite some time as an assistant BB coach and as a fund raiser. Oh well, at least when he's in Colorado he'll be a lot closer to his home state of Nebraska. He's from Quincy, Nebraska originially (close to Lincoln) and played basketball for Nebraska Wesleyan.

I just put a similar post on the basketball thread, with photos of both of these gentlemen. They will be greatly missed.

GO BENGALS!
