Losing Streak

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that if we lose on Thursday, we'll set the record for the longest losing streak in conference play since we reinstated men's basketball in 1996.

I was afraid of that. Ugh. We must be looking at the worst season W-L record since bringing back b-ball too.
 
Wow! Made me look back to the media guide. You're right, if they lose on Thursday, that would be 9 games in a row. You'd need to go back to 1965-66 to find a longer losing streak, conference or not.

It's crazy how this season fell apart. Eight games ago, PSU was 3-3 in conference, had just played the Beavers tough, and their only Big Sky losses were to Weber by a couple of points and at the Montana schools, I was pretty optimistic about the season...
 
So, the losing streak is over, but they're still 0 for the season on the road. The only longer streak I can think of is how many consecutive people have failed actually putting together that puzzle with the Vikings logo during the timeout. That may never, ever happen...

We'll be in the elite eight before the Viking logo is put together during the timeout.
