NAU men get the tripple crown (cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track). This makes the third year in a row that the lumberjack men have won the outdoor title. Ladies fell to a very talented and deep Sacramento St. team. When it comes to track and field, NAU dominates the conference year in and year out. There is no other program in the conferance with more titles than NAU both in men and women. Congrats to all the NAU athletes and coaches for their hard work throughout the season. Veronica Pohl was selected as the female athlete of the meet after wins in the 1500 meter and the 5000 meter and a third place finish in the steeple chase. She is an NCAA regional qualifier in each of those events and will probably represent NAU at the NCAA national meet. On the Men side David McNeil will most likely represent NAU at the national NCAA meet as he's ranked in the top 10 nationally in the 5000 as well.
Way to go NAU!!!
