The Hornets (10-11, 3-7 BSC) hit the road to face Weber State (16-7, 8-2 BSC) who is in the hunt for the BSC regular season title. The Wildcats are coming into this one off of a loss at UND.

Jeremy Senglin (18.2 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 2.8 apg) and Joel Bolomboy (17.2 ppg, 13.2 rpg) still lead the way for WSU this season. These two are still carrying the Wildcats as the production numbers drop off quite a bit for everyone else.

Comparison: Hornets - Wildcats
Points/Game: 73.2 – 78.6
Rebounds/Game: 35.8 – 39.0
Assists/Game: 14.3 – 14.5
Turnovers/Game: 12.0 – 13.0
Points Allowed/Game: 72.5 – 66.3

In typical fashion, the Hornets fell behind by a considerable margin before flailing their way back into it during the first game against WSU. Considering that this one is on the road, I don’t think the Hornets will be as fortunate this time around. I think the Wildcats win this one in a rout.

63-50 loss. Hornets had no answer for Bolomboy on either end of he court. The Hornet offense was dreadful tonight and missed a lot of high percentage shots as well as a poor showing from the charity stripe. A sub par showing by WSU kept this game from being an absolute laugher. The good news is Demps started tonight, but looked pretty rusty. On to Pokey...

Good to see Demps back...I wasn't able to watch the game but seems I didn't miss much...hopefully, Demps will be full strength by BSC tourney time and we can make some noise...ISU has been playing real good since we beat them in January...would really like to see a win tomorrow but we will need to bring our "A" game...

Another loss. 66-64 at Idaho State. I didn't see any of it but it sounds like another typical game where the Hornets fall behind and make a frantic comeback only to lose a close one. Probably a game the Hornets should have won, the shooting stats don't look good. This is getting old...

Four of the last 6 Big Sky games left at Hornet Gym on the Road to Reno.

Time for the Hornets to step it up and finish the regular season strong.

Hope the fans and the band show up and represent.

This team has the ability to do it.

Go Sac State
