Hornets take their 3 game winning streak on the road to Grand Forks to face UND (5-8, 1-1 BSC) Thursday night. UND has played most of their games on the road but have already claimed a highly desired road BSC victory last week at Montana State.
UND doesn't have a dominant scorer but they have a few guys averaging over 10 ppg and a couple near that mark as well. They are lead by forward Nash (11.1 ppg, 7.1 rpg) who is supported by a trio of guards, Tyler, Hooker, de Rouen, that average 10.5, 9.9, and 8.7 ppg respectively.

The Hornets struggle on the road and this is the longest road trip in BSC play. Both teams are pretty even on paper with the Hornets having the advantage in scoring and shooting percentage on the year. I think the key to this game will be Hornsby. He will need to stay out of foul trouble as he will be responsible for limiting the damage done by Nash. Other than that, if Garrity and McKinney continue on their blaze of terror coupled with solid play inside with Stuteville (will he be available this game due to the ejection against SUU?) and Tiffin then I like the Hornets chances.

That road monkey will have to be shaken eventually and the Hornets will need at least a split on this road trip if they have hopes of contending for a BSC crown.
