M: Official Tournament Thread

Can't wait until the administration gets to "showcase" The Nest at next years tourney. I hope there isn't a size minimum on the host site. Even if there is it would still make the admins squirm if we win the reg season and then have to play the tourney at say Consumnes College or god forbid UC Davis. Any thoughts????

Let them eat cake. Win it first, then worry about it. That's been the admins mantra since 1953.

I see that new campus CSU San Marcos is getting a brand spankin new 1400 seat gym, so did Humboldt. I've given up on the top clown doing anything. He has to retire with everyone loving him, didn't you get the memo?
 
Let’s not put the cart before the horse. Hornets still need to find a way to win on the road otherwise it’ll be another low seed next season.

Weber spanked UND in the final today 88-67 and will be heading to the Dance next week.

While I agree with SD here, my response to you, PGP, is that should we get together the wherewithal to pull the 1 seed in the Conference Tournament with the current arrangements augmented by a size rule, we wouldn't have to worry about going to CRC, ARC, Sac City, or the Manure Pile. We'd just rent out Sleep Train. Which would suit me to a T for a Conference Tournament given my previous post.

At least, I HOPE we'd rent out Sleep Train.

That said, what SD said applies....
 
C'mon SD, let me have some fun. Don't start stompin on my hopes already. I think we will be one of the favorites in the BSC so why not speculate about what the admins might do. If you look back I said "if we win the reg season" not when we win but I'll say that now.........When we win the 2014-2015 regular season championship the administration will have to squirm around trying to paint a pretty picture.

How much are all those nylon banners draping the gym now? Just buy more of them and spruce the place up, it will match the stadium. cough, cough
