MAC IS BACK, SO IS THE RUNNING ATTACK:

Portland State’s running game made a triumphant return on a cold, snowy day in Greeley, and not coincidently with a healthy SR FB Bobby McClintock on the field. McClintock missed all but one play the previous week and Portland State had -2 yards rushing against Sacramento State. With McClintock blocking and running against Northern Colorado, the Vikings gained 109 yards on the ground (including -35 sack yards) in a smash-mouth game. McClintock had 18 carries for 44 yards (and five receptions for 40 yards), but more importantly led two other runners to success. SO QB Connor Kavanaugh rushed 11 times for 56 yards and a touchdown. FR RB Evans Okotcha had 10 carries for 34 yards.

What???
Okay, first of all BM is a great pass blocker and a good choice for under 5 carries a game...even in the snow. However, 78 yards on 28 carries by our backs...(FB) 18 carries for 44 yards? (TB) 10 carries for 34 yards? ...triumphant return?...against northern colorado? sorry folks...that's not a running game.

I think that Joe Rubin, Ryan Fuqua, and Curtis Delgardo would agree...
