Magic Number 26 = NCAA Tournament

Eags currently sitting at 23 wins. Three more wins and we are in! Easier said than done though. If we can stay hot and get three more wins that would put us at 26. That's a pretty good number to put on your NCAA resume. Even if we can't make the Big Dance we are guaranteed a spot in the NIT. Obviously we want to go Dancing. It's going to be a really competitive Big Sky Tournament. We've got to show up every game. Let's do this!!!

Based on what we've done recently, you'd probably make us the favorite in the tourney. I couldn't watch the game today, but it sounds like Weber played pretty well and we still won. Coming off the road trip to UNC and then winning two at home, we're playing pretty well.

I heard a stat on the radio that said Eastern is undefeated in games we've won the rebounding battle, so that and limiting turnovers appears to be the key.

If we can get to 26 wins, our Belmont win will look better and better on our resume. They beat Murray State today in the OVC Championship to clinch an automatic berth to the Big Dance. It was one of the best college basketball games I've seen all year. Belmont is a really good team and we took them down. 26!!!

ESPN's Bracketology currently has us as the #15 seed playing San Diego State in Sacramento. Obviously we need to take care of business first, but it's fun looking at the projections.
