Meanwhile, in Pullman

That Wazzu win might turn out to look really good by the end of year. They looked good tonight, running the ball all over Oregon.

After watching Stanford freeze up on the big stage, I think the Cougs have a good shot to beat them next week. Stanford doesn't play a lick of offense, and it's hard to imagine WSU not getting at least a handful of points.

Prukop got benched late in the game. It's absolutely amazing to me that Oregon can't recruit or develop a young QB with all of the bling they have.

Helfrich won't be in eugene after this season, he is a mediocre HC and a poor recruiter considering oregon's resources. With Mariotta and the rest of Kelly's players he looked ok but since that talent is starting to dry up he's getting exposed for what he is. I said it before, but the only reason UO had a winning record last year is because of Vernon Adams. I really think we'd give them a run for their money this year. Our offense is better than theirs.

9/3 Oregon vs UC Davis 53-28

Comparisons; score EWU vs Davis 63-30...total yards EWU vs Davis 627...total yards Oregon vs Davis 522 Total yards Davis vs EWU 415...total yards Davis vs Oregon 392 EWU/Oregon both held a 2-1 turnover margin

Cougs are crushing Stanford! Go Cougs!

UW is the cream of the Pac12, 70-21 final score in Oregon.

Well, I wouldn't go that far...but I *DO* hope they keep winning, as it can do nothing but help us come playoff time. I hope they win their remaining games, although that will be a long shot...especially in the Apple Cup.

WSU has no bad losses on their resume.

Well, I agree with you, but the loss to an FCS team (however good we might be) will be perceived as a bad loss. Strangely, it did not seem to effect them that much last year. It probably helps that it was game 1.
