Agreed. And I just got official word from Jerry Bovee. He said if someone presents him with a petition with 1,000 signatures, he will make sure Joker and the Thief is back for Weber State's intro. I got his word on that. Anyone willing to take up the task of collecting? Perhaps passing it around at a game? :shocking:

Why does everyone have a Mahoner for that song? I think it's a great song myself, but it's not going to be that special when we hear it over, and over, and over again. I don't live near Ogden at the moment, but when I did, the only times I heard it were near the end of tight games. I thought it was the perfect moment. Now I've heard the song way too much, and it's lost its luster.

Some of you say it gives Weber State an identity. I guess that's a legitimate reason, but I am a fan of variety myself. In any case, it won't affect me too much, so I do hope the majority gets their wish.
