We’ll need to win 3 of our 4 remaining games to be gauranteed a playoff spot. I don’t know what Gubrud’s situation is, but the remainder of the year may depend on his availability. I’m glad we’re going into the bye week to regroup and get some guys healthy, but it’s gunna be hard to sit on this performance for 2 weeks.

We knew this would be a big chalenge playing on the road with a Qb who’s only played in a handful of games. I was expecting a little better from Eric, but I think things will start to slow down for him some with more experience.

Part of being a fan is accepting the bad with the good. If you think we’re upset about this game, think about how Eric feels. He was clearly distraught after throwing that second INT. The coaches are going to have to work on his confidence some if he’s the man for the rest of the season.

This is a tough one, no doubt. I'd struggle to remember an Eastern offensive performance as bad as that one. The last game I can remember being on that level was against Portland State in 2006.

I think we have to face an uncomfortable truth that this team simply isn't tough enough. At least not today. Weber State wanted to play us physical and we didn't respond. They beat us up bad. We have way too many guys missing time. An FCS team can't have that many guys miss time and not take a huge step backwards.

There going to need to be some soul searching for this team. More games like this won't win us enough to get us to the playoffs. We couldn't beat much of anyone with today's performance. We can get back to be successful if we toughen up and get back ready to play in two weeks. The bye week comes at a good time, maybe a week later than ideal, so we need to make the most of it and get everyone back ready to play in two weeks.

Exactly what I just said. It’s the worst in over a decade for any EWU QB. Absolutely no reason he should have not been benched for Gunner. A fan could have came down from stands and out played EB. Just such a SHIT loss to a garbage team

It's a team sport and everybody on offense fucked up today, not just the qb.
