Milo Hall, Wyoming Transfer

Good news again about a drop-down running back, Milo Hall from Wyoming. He is a Cherry Creek grad and helped them win the state championships against Valor. He was the 5A offensive player of the year in high school. UNC, Wyo, and New Mexico State offered. He didn't have a lot of carries in Laramie, so I am not sure what happened there. I like the move in that there isn't a lot of depth at the position and Trey is often injured. Next up is Jullen Isson but he is only a redshirt freshman.

He is not listed on the website yet, but there is indication from the Wyo fan message board.

I did a little digging, and was unable to confirm the UNCO transfer. All the news just shows him heading out of WYO. Would be great to have him join up though, seems like a great player and person.

Confirmed via his twitter that he will be a Bear. I think he will help us with depth at the position. What is more important though is this kid getting a degree and bettering his life. Here is a great article from the Laramie Tribune about how he escaped gang life after growing up in Park Hill. He was raised by a single mother. His older brother was shot and killed in a gang-related shooting and another brother was also shot (but survived).

I'm not sure why he wasn't getting carries with the 'Pokes. He was slated to start last year but for whatever reason was not getting the ball. Perhaps his lack size contributed, I'm not sure. I hope maybe a change of scenery will help. I remember him dominating Valor Christian in the 5A state championship. He had 214 rushing yards and 2 TDs. Many consider him the best player in the entire state his senior year at Creek.

Here is the link to the story. We all really need to cheer this kid on!https://trib.com/sports/college/wyoming/football/wyoming-running-back-milo-hall-finds-success-despite-family-tragedy/article_06ebd8ff-4574-56a8-94e0-dd0dbcfb6031.html
