Well, surely we will go 0-2 this week. I do not see any way we win a game here. How sad things trully are. If anyone wants to puke today, just read the complete and utter nonsense that that Rahe is preaching in the Standard today.

Rahe is calling out the fans. How ironic. For the life of me, I cant figure out what "adversties and up hill battles the team is enduring and difficulties." I get there was a injury early on, but what an excuse. We all know the adversities are Rahe. r

Yep, that is enough to keep me away from the Dee this year for sure. If he didn’t have the big contract, his butt would have been canned.

Rahe never takes ownership of the losses or faults...like rebounding. He’s hit a new low on taking shots at the fans.

Keep chopping wood...and losing games and players in the offseason Rahe. You can always say every team is a veteran team that beats you.

Randy,
Please consider paying a consultant coach to teach you and your assistant coaches on how to break a press and traps on the guards. This has been a major weakness for this coaching regime for over a decade. Several games and championships have been lost due to a consistent inability to coach players in this area.

Can’t wait for a Rahe’s post game comments! Some how he’ll weave this into a win for his players!

Anyone listen to the post game? I mean, we all know what was said, but wondering the exact quotes. How disgraceful was that game? Real sad that we have the soon to be wsu career scorer, and he will never get to the dance. How sad for him. Just shows you, Lillard name drop can only get the program so far. We need new blood and new direction. Coaching down the stretch was on the level of HS coaching. Bad clock management, and even worst execution. The only coach on campus that can call out fans, is JH. Rahe, but a product out there worth carrying for. Do something to prove you’re good. We all know you’re a terrible coach. The X’s and O’s are the worst ever. Even recruiting is below BSC average. We are a sub 300 team. Let that sink in. Again, I have to remind folks to not renew season tickets. Most fans are blind to the short comings of Rahe and the program as a whole. Please. Fire Rahe!!! Can we get private donors or fans to donate to his firing/buyout? How people still attend, is beyond me. Waiting for someone to start posting videos of them burning their season tickets. Randy, there are a zillion other things we can do, than to come cheer on a team for “trying.” Man up, do the right thing, and quit. Walk away. He will forever be known as the person who drove this program into the ground. Farmer is loving every second.

Didn’t hear the post game, but quotes in the paper are Rahe saying they are working their tails off and that they deserve a better fate. There is something about the basketball gods not watching out for them. He also said they worked on playing against the zone defense and got the looks they wanted, they just didn’t fall in.

Same old garbage. Rahe never owns up to his mistakes or weaknesses. Three of their six wins were vs NAIA. Idaho and Idaho State let them off the hook...how they won in Orem is a mystery. Basically, they are lucky to have six wins...it could be three or four.

I only see like two or maybe three possible wins left. Then the team looks worse for next year. Look for Barnes to transfer out of this mess.

Honestly, it would be best if Rahe just didn’t talk to the media. It only makes him look more pathetic...especially getting on the fans. Maybe get on yourself and improve your coaching.

Keep chopping wood you crazy diamond!

In the article, Randy mentions the word "fans" almost as many times as he mentions the word "team". If you are 3-13 in real games, you shouldn't be concerned about the fans at all. It should all be about the team. Or all about the coaching staff taking ownership. Talking about real fans and what the fans do and don't understand. This is really sad. He has more class than this. At least I thought he did.

So here is what l do understand. It is going to be an uphill battle when you have a collection of players that pretty much have the same skill set. You are going to face adversity when you run off multiple players every year. You are going to have "unlucky" results when your offensive sets yield contested 3's combined with poor shot selection. The ball isn't going to bounce your way when the Wahlquist JR High girls squad could out rebound your team. Sorry Randy, most of the adversity your team is facing was brought on by you.

This team will finish with less than 10 wins against real teams and had two of the top career scorers in school history. What does this tell us? The system is broken! Randy has set them up to fail.

I would play the remaining games Reno Big horns style. We should play super fast. If we are going to jack up a bad shot, why not do it within 5 seconds instead of 25. Either way we won't be in position to rebound. Press every play and play 11 guys every night. At least it would be exciting to watch. After all, being an athlete is one of our top criteria.

To me, the biggest indication of Rahe's failure as a coach is the lack of development among players. Guys just don't get better in the Rahe system.

I predict that Zdor and Barnes will leave at the end of the year. How long can a person stay around and witness a train wreck while their hoop dreams get messed over by a guy who has no clue?!

Very true. If anything, players seem to get worse as the season goes on. That might be due to the short rotation that exhausts them or the terrible system. Either way, it tells you the failure is with coaching.

I remember getting excited for Montana coming to town, it used to be the battle of the top two teams of the Big Sky. Now it’s an example of how far the program has dropped.

If Rahe isn’t bought out and fired soon. It may take quite a while to pull the program out of the dumps.

Watching the game, but it’s not about being exhausted or short rotations....... we are just the most selfish team I’ve ever seen. No picks, no assist. It’s all about getting mine! Harding and John are just looking to get their numbers. Rahe might tell you that he loves this team and they play hard for each other, but I just don’t see it. It’s 5 players on the court trying to just do their thing! I love listening to the broadcasters..... they called it just meandering....... taking little baby steps to right the ship. We are now according to Kenpom the 299th team in the nation. Going to take a lot more than baby steps to turn around the titanic!

That was an exciting game! WSU did what they have not done this season: rebounded, shot 3's well and made free throws! They got to the free throw line and knocked them down. Kozak was amazing, and despite Pridgett's huge offensive game, Kozak played him tough. Davis was huge in ways that don't really show in the stats.

Now WSU plays on the road at SUU and NoCo. Can they learn from this win and keep it going?

I thought it was another close loss after Harding did that turnaround shot coming out of the timeout, but the whole team came up big at key moments. Hopefully this will boost some confidence.

Always great to beat Montana. Great job Wildcats!

Maybe they can be the nightmare scenario for the conference and get hot and take the Tournament. I think that is an extreme long shot, but it would be fun to see.

This is a great win - just goes to show that the team has talent and has a lot of potential when they play as a team. You can take this two ways:
1. This is the beginning of a great turn around and a strong finish that could lead to a strong finish, a strong showing in the conference tournament, etc...
2. This is an aberration from the team performance and they will return to their typical play (e.g., not rebounding, not passing the ball, lack of energy and enthusiasm, inability to beat a press, etc.).

My crystal ball is broken. I will withhold judgement until more facts are known. This next road trip should be very revealing.

I mean Im not getting my hopes up. Didnt we play this way against BYU at home last year? Got hot hit some 3s and made timely free throws. Then we proceeded to go downhill from there. I can only hope we go up but Im not holding my breath.
