We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Montana at NoDakSt

I think NDSU is over rated, and as much as I hate to say it, the Griz may be under rated making for a good game. The home field will be the advantage that makes the difference in a Bison win.
What on earth would make you think NDSU is over rated? Throw out the Immaculate Conception game, because that team had no business playing NDSU, but they were extremely impressive in their other two games. If anything, Montana is over rated at this point in the season at number 4 in most polls.

I'd favor the Bizon by 11 but wouldn't be at all surprised if Montana wins or it's a Bizon blowout. Too early in the season to see any team's true identity.

One thing is for sure. Montana's O-line and secondary need to quickly improve and have a solid performance here to have a shot at the W.

Regarding fans…I was walking with a buddy who is an eagle alumnus and moderate fan through our tailgate section once when we were hosting MSU. It was a cold game and my buddy had a blue jacket on. We had drunk Eastern fans walk over 20 feet to get in his face and yell at him, thinking he was a cat fan. :ohno:

Yes it happens everywhere. Schools like Montana and NDSU just happen to have more douchebags because their fan base is larger.

I've been to Missoula many times and whether it's at the bars or at the tailgate, my wife and I, wearing red, get treated like royalty.

It's a tremendous fan base from my experience. Then again, I don't take message boards seriously either.

EWU opens up as 9 point favorites
NDSU opens up as 25 point favorites

Both of those look fairly realistic, although I'd put us as 3-4 point favorites on the road. Nine points seems a little high.
