• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!

Keep in mind that the Missoulian and the UM football program have had a tense relationship and UM fans believe the paper is just out to get the football program.
Clearly, this coach was eager to take in thugs, that nobody else would, in order to win a few games.

It looks like UM is seeking a return to this thuggery, if it means they can win a few more games.

I guess we know where UM's hearts are. Missoula is a special place, isn't it? :coffee:

Montana AD started off the press conference annoucing hiring of Hauck with these remarks:

First folks, there is no room for harassment in Griz Nation - none whatsoever. I want to be clear there is no place for it especially in college athletics and especially in a place we love so dearly. Lisa Davey is entitled to her opinion and should not fear. That is not who we are. We are known for so many wonderful things here and sportsmanship and respect are at the top of that list. I know you all agree with me. We can disagree, but there is no reason to belittle or harass and I absolutely condemn that behavior.

Well, Mr Haslam, during Bobby Hauck's previous tenure at your school, that is who you were, and you were not known for sportsmanship and respect. You should be embarrassed by this hire. Only shows that you place winning above all else, including sportsmanship and respect.

Proof Montana cares more about winning than the image of their University. Thug culture has returned to Missoula.

Well, the date-rape culture never left Missoula.

What sand bar has the UM AD had his head buried in? UM and their fan base have never been known for any of those things. What a maroon.
