Montana LOSES

35-33 v. Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. They were intercepted on a late drive to seal the game with a minute left.

Normally I root for conference brethren against OOC team, but because we will need all the help we can get, I'm glad they fell tonight. That, and justifies even further CP's legitimacy in joining the BSC. Should be an interesting game next week in Cheney... as long as TJ can play. Two pissed off teams that should've played better, both 1-1. Difference being that we lost in a competitive game against FBS, Griz lost in a competitive game against FCS. I don't know what to think anymore... this week threw the FCS and BSC through a loop. Fucking nuts.

Tough loss for them, but it's hard to have too much sympathy. Poly was probably really fired up to notch a win against Montana following the big announcement last week.

Montana seems to have some issues with their new offensive schemes. Nice to know someone else is having problems as well.

True dat. Can't remember the last time they've lost back to back games, so the odds are probably in their favor.

That said, I think the Eagles will be equally as fired up to play Montana on the first game on the red turf. I sort of would have preferred if Montana was coming into town still undefeated and still ranked number one, but hey - I suppose there's a first time for everything. I think we'll give them a game, especially if TJ plays.
