OK, let's make this the true game thread. Montana coming to town and it's been awhile since they were here. The last time, we played them at Hillsboro while the Timbers were reinventing the stadium so this will be the first time their fans have seen the stadium. Their fans travel well, probably better than Montana State fans, and they love to occupy the city during game weekend. Also, thanks to Don Reid, they do have a strong alumni connection to Portland and the state of Oregon. Their fans love Portland and love coming to Portland. Their team will race out on the field with the American flag and the state of Montana flag side by side. Griz fans are knowledgeable about the FCS so it is a good bet they know more about PSU football than most Portlanders. This will not be easy, they are beatable, but we will need to once again be on top of assignments and play a complete game to win. Forget the record, this will be our toughest conference game so far.

I'd love to be there and support the Vikings, but it comes at the same time as the Eastern game. I will be attending the game in Cheney, but I really want to come out to a game at Jeld Wen this year and root for Coach Barnum and the Viks!
