Montana Prediction...

I think Weber will disagree, and the fact that you guys lead the BSC in penalties because of personel fouls shows what kind of team you are on the field. I'm talking about this year, your talking about Edwards, when did he play at Montana University in the 90's, same with Oliver. You guys like to live in the past, Im talking about the present.

Check your history books I think it was Montana University before it was University of Montana.

Have a safe trip to Pocatello, if your coming, and enjoy the game.

First of all, please show me where it states that Montana leads the league in personal foul penalties. Next, John Edwards and Dane Oliver's last season was 2002. So you mean to tell me you're living in the present when you talk about Greg Coleman in 2003 and Brent Rossum? Nice backpedal there....

Check YOUR history books, son. It was never Montana University. It was first "The University" then up till the 1960s was known as Montana State University while the current MSU was Montana State College.

MONTE- perhaps i was a little aggressive on the "felons" statement, I mean some are just hilarious misdemeanors, like the drunk players breaking into the presidents mansion, I mean that was a hoot!
Seriously, you did raise a valid point, one that should not be lost on all; that being the fact that when we were experiencing problems, we removed both coaches and brought in new, more discipline oriented staffs. Now, so far, no discipline problems.
you may want to forward this number to your team and fan base-208-233-2333. Might come in handy

Is that what you want? And empty championship where the competition sold itself out?
Don't you know that all Griz fans care about is wins, no matter if they come from tradition, facilities, press, reffing, dirty tricks, etc.?
The real thoughts of a CUPCAKE schedule Montana fan! Montewins, what BS are you talking about? It happened, saw it with my own eyes! No worries though we are up for the challenge anytime. Any given Saturday my friend. I will echo the same from others ...drive safe and here is to a good game :-X

Wow - once again you are confusing us with Montana State who had a couple football freshmen sneak into their presiden't house when they were hiding someone. It was not a B&E like you were getting at but if you are going to throw mud, once again, please try and get your facts straight.

But yes - we all have discipline problems, and like I said, ISU should be the last one pointing the finger.

Yeah a cupcake schedule is the reason why we have 6 semifinal appearances in 12 years. Unless you want to continue to assert ISU as part of those cupcakes. In that case I would agree.

Coming from the school that schedules NAIAs every year....

You forgot Kentucky-Oregon St.-Idaho-UNLV etc.

I wasn't talking "payout games."
Ok then in that case you're forgetting Oregon State-Wyoming-Idaho-Hawaii-Oregon-Iowa etc.

Nice attempt at skirting the issue. This one's done.

Give me a break Monte, when was the last time Montana University played Wyoming, or Oregon State, in the 90's.

What about my other question?

"Are Rossum, Quinn, and Coleman on this years Montana University team? "

Give me a break humble, and Please tell me you aren't this stupid. I was referencing the fact that, like you, we also play I-A teams -- I didn't mean Oregon State and Wyoming in particular. Here's a full list since you obviously can't grasp this concept:

2006: @ Iowa
2005: @ Oregon
2003: Idaho
2002: @ Idaho
2001: @ Hawaii, Idaho

The reason for this was 1. That you claimed that we always play a cupcake schedule. Then I said you can't really get to the semis 6 out of 12 years with a cupcake schedule. 3. I would say to ISU speak for yourself since you play the likes of Montana Tech and UM-Western nearly every year. Then you said "but we play big time schools" and then listed a few. Then I said "so do we." And you said no not since the 90s. And now I just smacked ya down again.

RE: Coleman, Rossum, etc -- their offenses happened prior to joining the team - so I don't see how that has relevance. Like you said "don't live in the past."

Let the backsliding continue....

Cool, you just had them in the list, ya OK.

2006: @ Iowa
2005: @ Oregon
2003: Idaho
2002: @ Idaho
2001: @ Hawaii, Idaho

I know

2007 FT Lewis, SUU, and Albany

RE: Coleman, Rossum, etc -- their offenses happened prior to joining the team -

Exactly my point, Hack will take anyone, and I mean anyone that he thinks will help the team, regardless of character

Hey I'm done, I need to get ready to do a little pre funk before the game. Enjoy the game monte and thanks for the pre game conversation this week, good luck in the playoffs.

If you think that ISU wouldn't have taken Coleman or Rossum you are seriously kidding yourself. ISU has taken traditionally anyone.

Plus that's interesting you say that since UM won the President's Cup last year which takes academics into factor - UM football had the highest average GPA of any BSC team - and if you would like to compare academics at UM vs ISU I would certainly be happy to oblidge.

Monte- you were right on the break in thing. that was msu. Of course, all Montana schools look alike to me.

You're right - what's the difference

You can't beat either of em anyway.

BEFORE YOU MAKE A STATEMENT LIKE THAT, CHECK YOUR SPELLING.

I never said I was an English major.

o-b-l-i-g-e.

If spelling and grammar smack is all you have left I'll be seein ya.

bhumble said:
Monte, do you understand what I was saying now, given the Coleman, Pate, Sheldon arrest

There was never a question of that.

Will you ever understand what I meant by saying that ISU is the last school that should point figures considering their notorious run-ins with the law over the last few years?

I don't see how this is that tough for you to grasp.

bhumble said:
The difference is, that ISU coach is gone.

They sure waited a while to fire him. Do ya think it could have been the fact that ISU was at the bottom of the Big Sky?
