• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Well, Montana State took a page from the Weber State playbook and led by 14 points (9 at halftime) to lose to Grambling State 88-81 in overtime. The Bobcats missed a potential game winning layup with 9 seconds left and the score tied 72-72. Robert Ford tied it a 78 all with his fifth 3 pointer of the game with 2:02 left in OT but then Montana State went 1-6 during the last 1:27 of the OT.

Here's the link to the story on the game.

MSU caught Lightning in a bottle for a short while. It can happen and it did happen. There were four better teams in the BSC, but they won in Boise and earned the right to get beat in the play in game. Shame on the rest of us for not doing better.

At this point, it's on to next year. Hope springs eternal. With a few more pieces, we can be right back in it. I'm going to stay on the optimistic side of things. It's what I do.🍀
