Much better second quarter. For a while there I thought we were going to get blown out before the half was even over. What a bright spot Schakel has been in this game.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I'm absolutely floored by how much better our receivers have looked in this game. It's like watching a different receiving corps.

It's a difference between seeing a ball in the air and knowing our guy's not going to catch it to seeing a ball in the air and knowing he is. Schakel is making all of the difficult throws that we haven't seen an EWU QB be able to make since EB3.
