I like our chances against Montana State IF our offense gets rollin. If not it's going to be another long day. Hopefully EWU defense was just that good, and we're not back to our old ways or current ways for that matter. I'm going to say:

UNC 28

MSU 17

I'm going to challenge the students to fill up Nottingham on Saturday. Let's have a GOLD OUT! All UNC students should wear their gold UNC BEARS t-shirts. Hopefully, some of the students on this board who are still in school at UNC will organize this with their friends. This should be a viral sort of thing. Start texting on your electronic devices and get all the students there for Saturday's game. Let's make it so loud that MSU can't hear any snap counts. Come on UNC...Let's Go!!!

I like our chances too, but our offense is really struggling. I am going to be chicken and not pick anyone. I think it's a toss up.

Heys Bears fans! Looking forward to a great game this weekend! This has all the makings of an epic battle between a prolific UNC offense against a hard-hitting MSU defense. My Bobcats have definitely not shown anyone what they are capable of yet, but I'm hoping they come out fired up on Saturday. We definitely have not played to our abilities this season, and you guys have always had our number. Wish I could be there in Greeley for the game, but I have a daughter's soccer game to attend.

MSU game plan: on offense, we need to establish the run. We didn't assert ourselves up front until late in the game against Dixie State. Aaron Mason and CJ Palmer are very capable backs when given the chance. Eliminate the turnovers. Catch the passes; our receivers have had no problem getting open, even against Michigan State. But actually reeling in the ole' pigskin has been a problem. On defense, create a pass rush. We are banged up in the secondary, but contrary to popular believe we do have some athletes back there. They can can cover their man, but not all day. We need to rush Waggener and force him to make bad decisions. If we give enough time like we did the DSU QB, he will kill us. Eliminate the stupid personal fouls. STOP ANDRE HARRIS!

My prediction: MSU - 24, UNC -21. The games between our two teams have always been close. Good luck, Bears. Let's have a good game with no injuries! GO CATS!!!

Your defense might have a field day with our offense. We're too banged up on the line.

No turn overs we have a chance, also, let's not go for it on fourth down ever again, have we ever converted one in the Downing era? Kick the field goals when you have them...

As a reminder, for us out of towners (and MSU supporters), this game is on Altitude sports.

Well, we're pretty banged up in the secondary, so maybe the MSU-D vs. UNC-O battle might not be as epic as it could be. But, brother, I'm telling you this game comes down to the final seconds. Call me nuts, but this could very well be one of the best Big Sky games all season. The Cats and the Bears are fast building a rivalry (what the hell is it with that animals we Cats fan despise so much; Bears, grizzlies)? Look for a battle. Good luck this weekend, but not too much 8)

Yeah, but we a more like a Winnie the Pooh bear than anything else so you can't hate us too much. :D

I think our offense will bounce back, if you compare the stats between the two teams in the EWU game there isn't much difference. What killed us were the turn overs.

Don't you have one of your studs coming back in the secondary?

It's going to be a long year if we can't fix that offensive line. They were horrible. It's injuries I know and a lot of those kids weren't expected to play this year, but it's bad. The same thing with the play calling. Darnell needs to retire after this year. On a positive note, the defensive played pretty well.

Yep. Today was an embarrassment. I know injuries have killed us but still. Offensive play calling is a joke, seriously do we run the same 10 plays over and over? I hope the whole staff is gone by the end of the year.

Yeah any optimism I might have had is gone. The same old story, really this team has regressed. Penalties, 3 and out after 3 and out, we were flat, soft, lazy, and ill prepared... I put that on coaching. After 3+ years it's obvious this is Scott Downing football, any coach in that time stamps his influence on a program and this game was the perfect example of what we've had to suffer through for years now. Zero excuse for coming out that flat and making so many mistakes early. Someone mentioned the play calling, horrible, we sprang that reverse once last year against Texas State and we've continued to run it about three times a game since then and it gets stuffed for a 10 yard lose every single time. Someone please write NO MORE REVERSES on a peice of paper and staple it to the coaching staff's foreheads.

Please don't show us on TV anymore it's humiliating.

Wow, I don't really know what to say. I thought this game was gonna be a barn-burner. After watching you guys last season, I thought your program was ready to turn the corner. Didn't you have four or five games last season that were lost right at the end by just a handful of points? After watching Saturday's game, it looks like you guys might have taken a step or two backwards. I understand you were dealing with a lot of injuries, and the outcome was almost more of UNC giving us that game versus MSU taking it.

Hang in there. The conference season is still young. You never know what will happen. However, at this stage, I think it's time to bench Waggener and start thinking about the future. Dylan Orms looked exciting, and he might be the guy to build upon. Good luck the rest of the season, and remember, it's only college football. The sun will still come up; no need to jump off anything high!

You guys have some talent, especially in the secondary. We didn't exactly throw on you at will. The big deal is your O line. If you can get that shored up a little, so your QB isn't running for his life every play, you could surprise some folks.

You've had a setback. It happens--we've all been there. Stay up and don't give up on your guys.
