According to the Bee today, Pete Murdaca left the team when Fleming arrived. I guess Murdaca's injury was more than just soft tissue.

From what I saw of him in early camp practices before he got hurt, wasn't that good. IMO, no big deal.

Well that was a waste of a scholarship...sounds like this guy was always hurt right from the get go. SH may get his wish of seeing Carmazzi seeing the field after all. QB has to be the number one priority on the recruit list if it wasn't already.

Does anyone know anything about true freshman Garrett Safron? The coaches must see something in him, he was listed as backup before Fleming came and is again.

He's an invited walk-on, non-scholarship player (maybe that is changing, but I don't know anything) and they like him a lot. Jumped right past Carmazzi and Murdaca the first week of camp.
