Okay, I've cooled down. No blame for any Eagle or Coach. First, for those of us with poor game reception. I switched from phone/tv to my notebook and had no problem seeing and hearing the game. Second, my perception of this game is that we faced a very good team that got more breaks than our Team. Neither the O or D lines were up to the level necessary to prevail up front. EB3 had very little blocking protection, nor did the backfield. I would state from my safe "age" away, that our tackling still needs lots of immediate improvement. What ripped me the most were problems that compounded on themselves. Eags gotta kill the penalties. Kudos to EB3's leadership and perseverance. Perfect touchdown run with great down field escort!

Personally, don't want Coach Best's head, want to see him learn from whatever is happening right now in the coaching room and with the players. Know this will launch Eastern to a new level of dominance if he can complete the journey. Nothing easy about being a HC.
Pump the brakes on this talk... Coach Best is a damn fine coach who is dealing with a lot at the moment. He deserves support, as does the whole team. Who the fuck are we, as fans, to apply more pressure when they’re already feeling enough?
The coaching issues I’m seeing are not related to Best at all. I feel like both offense and defense have regressed a bunch with the new coordinators. Even then, I think it’s an issue of players not quite understanding their roles, not bad schematics. And the biggest issue of all is actually the players... way too many guys getting hurt and missing time. Some bad luck, certainly, but likely a bit of softness in there as well. We seem to be decimated by injuries every single year, and usually it starts within a couple weeks.

Secondly, I've no doubt you are spot on about Best. He's the right guy who's in a situation that may be outside of his frame of reference (experience or comfort zone). Hope he works through it because than he'll be one hell of a HC for a long time. Seen people in all walks of life who have faced the unknown and come through it better in every way. Apotheosis.

Coach Best didn't forget how to be a head coach after going to the natl title game.
What is on him are if OC & DC coordinator choices if they eventually have to move on from these two.
