As Martymoose has stated before on another thread, there is a lot of talk over on egriz that Assistant Coach Nate Duchesne is heading to Portland State from Montana. He is said to be an "offensive" strategist and a very good recruiter (particularly in the NW). Would seem to be an excellent pick-up for the Viks.

Here is his bio from MontanaGrizzlies.com

Umm, they might want to update that bio unless UW has some unique eligibility rules.

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - Nate DuChesne, an assistant coach for the University of Montana men's basketball team, is leaving the school for the top assistant job at Portland State.

UM athletic director Jim O'Day confirmed the move Thursday.

DuChesne was a teammate of UM head coach Wayne Tinkle while playing guard for three seasons for the Griz in the late 1980s. He was hired as an assistant in August 2006.

His duties at Montana included recruiting, on-the-floor coaching, overseeing team academics and coordinating travel operations. He will be the first hire for new Portland State head coach Tyler Geving.

You can take out the question mark, it's official now:
