Nate Ketteringham Transfers

So he’s not good enough for Sac State, but he is good enough for the defending BSC champs. Just another example of the coaching brilliance currently at this program.

Word out of a Fall camp is the Ketteringham is already looking like a stud in Grand Forks. With a whole year to lead the scout team, watch film and learn the offense, I expect big things out of this kid. doesn't hurt that he will inherit a nice o line and some great receivers.

Ketteringham talking (probably true) smack about the Sac program in the local paper is a classy touch too...

I thought his quote was pretty tame, to be honest, considering the Sac staff wanted to move him to safety this year. I imagine the atmosphere between Sac State and UND's programs is pretty different.

I agree, I did not sense any 'trash' talk at all ... seems to me he was acknowledging the intense atmosphere in a program like that, more of a compliment to UND

K-Ham has the talent and potential. He didn't have an OL nor the talent around him to do much here. He is a good get for UND.

Sac fans relax, you're going to love Thomson as will his teammates. His leadership, his heart, his athleticism. Hornets will rally behind him.

It will be very interesting to see Thomson in play. He is Wulff's guy no doubt. Fact is however, the last time he played in an actual game was his senior year in high school, and that was 3-4 years ago ... from what I have read, a redshirt at unlv, then a missed year for injury at unlv (don't think he ever played), then a year off, whatever that means? ... so that's three, so well into a fourth year... would have thought Cassel in the end would have won the job with his leadership and based on actually playing college football. With that said, Clapper has played well the last two seasons ... To Thomson's benefit, the schedule no longer has Power 5 dates ... Idaho this year, and SDSU and Fresno going into the future ... the top BSC powers are going full tilt at the Pac-12, these guys are looking for D2 or NAIA to fill open home dates in the future!

Look for 2 PAC 12 schools being added. I much rather play the Mountain West. If you do not have too, wouldn't want to play PAC12

The fact that we are even discussing the fact that a good QB transferred to a conference school tells us all we need to know about the current coaches. If we are 1-3 after the first 4, I see no need for the experiment with ineptitude to continue. :shit:

Watching the replay of the ND/UM game they made mention of Ketteringham. With Sac 2-1 and ND 1-3 in conference play I wonder if this player is regretting his decision. Especially being that he's a junior and hasn't played 1 down of football this year. Looking at Thomson, he's completely turned this team around and given Sac State some incredible momentum and confidence. QBs make all the difference in the world and this change was a blessing in disguise.

HornetHope, why so salty?

NK is quickly learning the grass isn't always greener.

Just thought I would throw this out there in case there was any interest on it, but UND just named Nate Ketteringham the starter for this season.

Barring injuries, it could be fun to see how he fares against is former team when they meet this fall.

Interesting. Zimmerman looked solid from what I saw in our game with UND last season. Figured he would have the advantage heading into camp.

No doubt K-Ham has the game on October 20th circled...which ironically enough is our Homecoming game.
