Was waiting to see if this kid would sign with Weber and really excited for it. Could be a big steal. Also had offers from SUU, Air Force, Army, and Idaho. Rated a 3 Star by Scouts and the #2 ranked RB in Utah. Was the 4A State MVP and Utah Gatorade High School Player of the Year.

Zeke Birch is a big get as well. 3 Star from Scout and top ranked DT in Idaho, 14th ranked in the West. Former Boise St commit. 1st team all-state. Weber has been recruiting him since he was a sophomore.sas123abc said:Weber had a big day today in my opinion the best class I have seen. Josh Davis and Kaden Jenks are huge gets and I wouldn't be surprised to see both playing this coming year.

Mentions that Kaden Jenks was getting some serious interest from a high level ACC team

I'm a tad worried. Looking at the recruiting lists over the past few years there is a pretty good number of players who are not returning after their missions. It was interesting to me to see only one 2015 signee part of last nights list, but a pleasant surprise seeing a couple of guys from 2014 back with the team. Maybe Coach Hill is bringing the guys back, and red shirting them right away? If so, that isn't the worst idea on earth. Most are going to return early to mid-summer, and aren't ready to go (Weber recruits don't get the preferential treatment of BYU recruits ; i'm kidding. I know nobody does. If you do get a chance to workout it is on your time and if your companion will go). But, fact of the matter, returning missionaries haven't been lifting at a high level for two years. In most cases, they just aren't ready to play. Football players need time to get back into game shape, would need, at least, 6 months.
If this is the case, we should see, next year at this time, a number of guys who signed in 2015 who are enrolled and have re-signed. At least, that is my theory.
